Fashion and interior designer Meg Mathews has announced she's to donate all the proceeds from her snake-themed collection of jewellery, Venom, to animal right's charity PETA.

Mathews, who decided to go vegan at the beginning of the year and got rid of all the exotic-skins handbags and shoes from her wardrobe, said 'When I learned how these animals suffer when they are skinned for nothing more than a bag or belt, it gave me the creeps and I could never wear them again'.
